About E=MC³ Swim Club

Our Story
Founded by swimmers, for swimmers, E=MC³ brings together adults of all levels for structured swim workouts in a friendly, encouraging environment.

We swim at the Clarence-Rockland YMCA three times a week during seasonal sessions. Our members range from casual fitness swimmers to triathletes and competitive masters.

Our Vision and Mission

Vision

To be a welcoming and inspiring community where adults develop their swimming abilities, enhance their well-being, and enjoy the shared experience of aquatic fitness.

Mission

To empower adult swimmers through quality coaching, structured workouts, and a supportive community — whether the goal is improved technique, endurance, or competition readiness.

E=MC³ is open to adults (18+) of different experience levels, including:

  • Fitness swimmers

  • Competitive and masters swimmers

  • Triathletes

  • Former athletes returning to the pool

  • Anyone looking to improve their swimming technique

  • Adults who want to learn in a friendly and supportive environment

What You'll Experience

  • Swim as part of a group and build skills through targeted training

  • Practice drills and group swim principles

  • Improve endurance and speed with varying intensities
